Review of Caroline Restaurant
Spacious and inviting inside. I don't always like Bloody Mary's (I don't love vodka), but I had to try this one with 'bacon infused vodka' and a garnish of peppered bacon. Was glad I did! The bacon was fresh off the grill, crispy, oily, and the Mary itself was nicely balanced with worcestershire and hot sauce notes coming through along with the alcohol. Erin's cinnamon roll. Unfortunately came out a bit cold. She said it was fresh though, and the piece I had was pretty good. Nice decorative disk of cream cheese icing on top tho! Erin's avocado toast. Nice soft bread, fresh avocado, drizzled with yuzu juice and sprinkled with pumpkin seeds. Wft is a Yuzu? It's a Japanese lemon. This was really good. My b-fast. The butter was pre-warmed! This is such a simple thing that even fancy restaurants get wrong. Nice job, Caroline. The bacon was peppered and yummy, the eggs were ... eggs, and the potatoes were very crispy.
